All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Evelyn Ferris Mrs. Evelyn Ferris, 70, of Winnsboro, died at 11 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, at the Franklin Parish Hospital, following a lengthy illness. Services were held at the Wayside Pentecostal Church in Winnsboro, at 2 p.m., Friday, April 17. Officiating were the Rev. Jesse Booth, and the Rev. W. H. (Son) Warbington. Burial was in Myrtle's Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of the Mulhearn Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Gerald Wollerson, Milton Wollerson, Skipper Wollerson, Warren Wollerson, Denis Wollerson, Peter Wollerson, David Wayne Smith, and Greg Clark. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Charles G. King of Baton Rouge; one son, Edward L. Ferris of Pineville; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Townsend, and Mrs. Onedia Smith, both of Winnsboro; six brothers, Aubrey Wollerson, T. B. Wollerson, Jr., Alton Wollerson, Osee Wollerson, Samuel Wollerson, and Holland Wollerson, all of Winnsboro; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
