Hershel Finley
 
Funeral services for Hershel Finley, 63, of Shreveport were held 
Monday at New Life Assembly Church with the Rev. Glenn Finley, 
the Rev. Melvin Finley and the Rev. Raymond Beard officiating.
 
Interment followed at Crowville Masonic Cemetery under the 
direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
 
Mr. Finley died Saturday, November 25, 2000 in Shreveport.  He
was a native of Franklin Parish and a member of First Assembly 
of God Church in Shreveport.  He is preceded in death by his father,
R.J. "Buddy" Finley.
 
Survivors include his wife, Fannie Finley of Shreveport;  mother, 
Sarah Finley of Crowville; children, Buddy Finley of Shreveport; 
Teresa Rogers and Belinda Anderson both of Keithville;  sister, 
Joy Ann Wallace of Delhi;  brothers, Rev. Melvin Finley of Crowley; 
and Rev. Glenn "Fobi" Finley of Crowville; and seven grandchildren.
