Dewey C. Ford

Funeral services for Dewey C. Ford, 80, of Jonesville were held Sunday,
January 30, 2000 at Sandy Lake Penetecostal Church with the Rev. Russell Hathcock
and the Rev. Jerry Dillion officiating.
Interment followed at Heard Cemetery under the direction of Community
Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mr. Ford died Saturday, February 5, 2000 at the Columns after an extended
illness.
He was a resident of Jonesville, retired logging contractor and a member of
Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church.  He is preceded in death by a son Glen Dale Ford.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Mary P. Ford of Jonesville; children,
Alice Ford Matthews, Clifton Ford and Paul Ford all of Jonesville; Betty Rose Ford
Herrington of Meridian, Mississippi; Sandra Ford Dillion of Madison, Mississippi; Nelda
Joe ford Talley of Bogalusa; sister, Laurence Netherland of Baton Rouge; brothers, Henry
Ford and Alton Ford both of Jonesville; and Daniel Ford of Baton Rouge; 17 grandchildren
and 18 great-grandchildren; aa host of nieces and nephews.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
