L.C. Lord Jr. and the Rev. William Smith officiating. Burial followed at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. Mrs. Frazier died Tuesday, October 31, 2000 at Golden Age Nursing Center in Jena. She was a graduate of Baskin High School and Louisiana Tech University. She was a retired Franklin Parish School Teacher, having taught in Lincoln and Union Parishes, the Monroe city school system, and Franklin Academy. She had resided at the Golden Age Nursing Center for the past two years. She had resided most of her life in the Friendship Community of Franklin Parish. She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Jane Williams Lord, her husband, Charles W. Frazier; two sisters, Myrtle L. Vernon and Velma L. Pennebaker; and two brothers, Arnold Lord and Rev. Loyce Lord. Survivors include one daughter, Dee Anna F. Knockemus of Shawnee, Kansas; two sons, Charles W. Frazier of Jonesville; Marcus L. Frazier of Livingston, Louisiana; two sisters, Mary Lee Ruple of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; Stella L. Vallery of Ambler, Pennsylvania; eight grand- children and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Claude Lord, Lee Lord, Marvin Lord, Levy Lord, Tony Thompson and Rusty Walker.
