We count it an honor that he was called home on the anniversary of the day our Saviour, Jesus Christ, rose from the dead some 2000 years ago. Those who trust Jesus as their Saviour have eternal life. Kenneth trusted him as his Saviour at the age of six and his faith is now made sight. Through the years, he served as deacon at Fort Necessity Baptist Church for 14 years. He then served as deacon and usher at Tewmple Baptist Church for 12 years of which he was a member when he went home. He loved working in the church and cherished many fond memories. He met many fine friends along the way that he would like to thank for all the encouragement, prayers and support during his courageous 20 month fight against cancer. Funeral services were held at Temple Baptist Church in Winnsboro, Tuesday, April 25, 2000. Interment followed at Fort Necessity Baptist Church Cemetery under the directions of Riser First National Funeral Home with Dr. Alan Miller, the Rev. Jim Taylor and the Rev. Ken A.
