Elaine S. Griffin
 
Funeral services for Elaine S. Griffin, 71, of Delhi were held Friday at 
Family Worship Center with the Rev. Eddie Simmons officiating.
 
Interment followed at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of 
Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
 
Mrs. Griffin died Tuesday, July 25, 2000 at Richland Parish Hospital 
in Delhi after an extended illness.  She was a homemaker and a member 
of Family Worship Center.  She is preceded in death by her husband, 
Arnold Griffin; parents Willie Herbert Sones and Addie May Guyton Sones.
 
Survivors include her children, Michael Griffin of West Monroe; Kenneth 
Griffin and Vicki Alexander both of Delhi; step-father, Luther Leachman 
of Dubach; sister, Joyce and Lester Meyers of Monroe; four grandchildren 
and one great-grandchild.
 
Pallbearers were Harold Sones, Rodney Sones, Rocky Meyers, Larry 
Meyers, James Meyers and Jeffery Mears.
 
Honorary pallbearers were Roy Bullock and Daryl Akiona.
