Guthrie Funeral services for Charlie R. Guthrie, 38, of Gilbert were held Sunday, September 24, at Apostolic Faith Chapel with the Rev. Virgil Harris and Bro. Charles Dixon officiating. Interment followed at Providence Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Guthrie died Thursday, September 21, 2000 at Niles, Michigan. He was a native and resident of Franklin Parish, crew leader with Capital Tower and Communications, Inc. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie M. and Nellie Marie Guthrie. Survivors include his wife, Tammy Lynn Guthrie of Gilbert; daughters, Amanda LaShea Guthrie and Victoria Nicole Guthrie both of Gilbert; sisters and brothers, Sallie and Ronnie Parker of Essex Missouri; Lonnie J. and Betty Sue Guthrie; Judy and Eddie Edwin; Lila Jean and Mike Jones; Cathan and William Oser; Donald Ray and Marena Guthrie all of Jigger; Keri Lea and Bill Rasbury of Neosho, Missouri; David and Alice Guthrie of Gilbert; also a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Brady Jones, Kenny Rice, White Erwin, Darren Parker, Chad Ford and Clark Parker. Honorary pallbearers were Dewayne Crain, Christopher Guthrie, Andy Rasbury and Alton Guthrie.
