Jean Pylant Gwin
(August 8, 1936 - December 9, 2008)

Funeral services for Jean Pylant Gwin, 72, of Winnsboro will be held 10:00 AM
Friday December 12, 2008 at Temple Baptist Church in Winnsboro, LA with Rev.
Jason Foster and Rev. Paul Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Myrtle
Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home in
Winnsboro. Visitation will be Thursday December 11, 2008 from 5- 8 PM at the
funeral home.

Jean was born to the union of her parents, Ocro and Alma Wright Pylant on August
8, 1936 in Crowville, LA and went home to be with her Lord on December 9, 2008
at her residence in Winnsboro, LA. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and
loved being a part of Mrs. Ruth Cuny's Sunday School Class. She spent many hours
doing volunteer work with the Franklin Medical Center Pink Ladies where she
served as treasurer.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John D. "Billy" Gwin; father, Ozro
Pylant; brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Betty Jo Pylant; and a great
granddaughter, Anna Michael Gwin.

Jean is survived by her mother, Alma Pylant, of Crowville, LA; three daughters,
Sherri DuBois and husband Andre, of Inverness, MS, Donna Hitt and fiance'
Russell Flowers of Winnsboro, LA; and Robin Armstrong and husband Jeffery of
Gilbert, LA; two sons, Mike Gwin and wife Libby of Winnsboro, LA and Chris Gwin
and wife Kal of Destrahan, LA; nine grandchildren; eleven step-grandchildren;
and two great grandchildren; special friends, J. L. and Rosemary Hendrix and
Jerri Sanders.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Gwin, Tyler Gwin, Dustin Cupp, Jason Armstrong,
Cross Hogan, Tony Hughes, David Pylant, and Kenny Pylant.
