Mary Jackson
 
Funeral services for Mary Jackson, 79, of Gilbert were held Sunday
at St. Mark Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred Nelson officiating.
 
Interment followed at Oakley Cemetery under the direction of 
Richardson Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
 
Mrs. Jackson died Monday, November 20, 2000 at Franklin Medical
Center after a long illness.  She was a homemaker.
 
Survivors include two daughters Elnora Walker of Gilbert; Mary 
Marshall of Tucker, Georgia;  sons, Rev. Fred Nelson of Little Rock,
Arkansas;  Sam Nelson of Colfax;  Dallas Hawkins of Dallas, Texas;
Lucius Hawkins of Auston, Texas;  Frankie D. Nelson of Bastrop;
Jessie Jackson of Gilbert; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
 
Sons served as pallbearers.
