Charlie January Jr.
 
 
Funeral services for Charlie January Jr., 70, of Wisner were held Saturday 
at New Light Baptist Church of Wisner with the Rev. Jerry Bailey officiating.
 
Interment followed at Holly Grove Cemetery near Wisner under the direction 
of Richardson and Sims Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
 
Mr. January died Sunday, July 2, 2000 at Magmolia Living Center in Winnsboro, 
following an extended illness.
 
Survivors include his  wife, Ernestine January of Wisner; three daughters, Betty J. 
January of Sicily Island; Charlene Gray of Ruston; Toni January of Wisner; three 
sons, Ronald January of Southfield, Michigan;  Donald January of Houston, Texas;  
Rodney January of Hawthorne, California; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
 
Pallbearers were Ronald January, Donald January, Rodney January, Cecil Gray, 
Louis Skipper Jr. and Calvin Adams.
