Funeral Services Held For Mrs. J. D. M. Johnson at Winnsboro, LA

Funeral services for Mrs. J. D. M. Johnson, age 68 years, whose death occurred
in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bennette Anders, of near Winnsboro, Oct. 30,
1935, were held Oct. 31, Thursday afternoon, at Liddieville, with interment in
the Liddieville Cemetery.  Rev. Tom Radcliff, pastor of Olla Church,
officiated.

Mrs. Johnson was a devout member of the Baptist Church at Zion Hill.  She once
lived at Tannehill for several years before moving to her daughter, Mrs.
Bennette Anders, at Winnsboro.

She is survived by her husband and six children.  They are Mrs. Bennette
Anders, Winnsboro; Mrs. Andy White, Colfax; Mrs. Wyley Hammons, Winnfield;
Mrs. Fred Mercer, Pollock; Miss Bessie Johnson, Natchitoches; and Mr. Morgan
Johnson, Pollock.  Eleven grandchildren and other relatives also survive.

She had been ill for several weeks but her condition was not considered
critical until death came.

Sleep on and take thy rest.  God knows we loved our dear sweet mother, but God
loved you more.  (Contributed)
