William L. "Bill" Jordan
 
Funeral services for William L. "Bill" Jordan, 80, of Winnsboro were held Friday,
August 18, at the Community Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Paul Perry officiating.
 
Interment followed at Harris Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial 
Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
 
Mr. Jordan died Wednes, August 16, 2000 at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro.  
He was a resident of Franklin Parish, retired sawmill tree planter, served in the U.S. 
Army during  WW II and was a member of the Baptist Faith.
 
Survivors include his sisters, Lucille Cupp of Baskin; Leona Cupp of Colorado City, 
Texas; Mary Simons of Winnsboro; brother, Eli Jordan of Pineville; also a host of 
nieces and nephews.
 
Pallbearers were Billy Wayne Jordan, Ben Crook Jr., Kevin Rogers, Jason Jordan, 
Jeff Purvis and Donald Holly.
