Leora Parker Keene

Funeral services for Leora Parker Keene, 75, of Monroe were held Thursday
at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel, on Sterlington Road, Monroe with the 
Rev. Tom Tynes, the Rev. Don Blackman and Bryan Hubbard officiating.
Interment followed in Harris Cemetery near Crowville.
Mrs. Keene, a member of Lone Pine Baptist Church in Swampers, died 
Tuesday, March 21, 2000.  She had been an Avon distributor for over 29
years.  
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hardy and M.A. Parker; brother
Hardy M. Parker, two sisters, Madge B. Pierce and Elizabeth Ann Williams.
Survivors include her husband Danny Keene of Monroe; three brothers, Ban 
Earl Parker of McCleod, Texas; Carl Parker of Monroe; Wayne Parker of 
Pelham, Alabama; five sisters, Geraldine Reynolds of OakGrove; Jeanetta 
Ingram of Winnsboro; Sarah McQuillin of Jackson, Mississippi; Dorothy 
Parker of Winnsboro and Carolyn Hightower of Rayville; numerous nieces 
and nephews.
Pallbearers were Paul Pierce, Jimmy McQuillin, Sammy Reynolds, Kevin 
Parker, Keith Parker, Jay Williams and Vance Graham.
