Virginia Spann Lord

Funeral services for Virginia Spann Lord, 77, of Baskin were held Monday
at Mangham Baptist church with the Rev. Rick Aultman, the Rev. C.T. Smith
and the Rev. Fred Keyes officiating.
Interment followed in Union Cemetery near Baskin, under the direction of
Mulhearn funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mrs. Lord was a homemaker and a member of Mangham Baptist Church, member
of O.E.S, Wisner and Rainbow girls.
Mrs. Lord was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. L.C. Lord, Sr., her
parents John and Ester Newman Spann, Sr. and a brother and sister.
Survivors include two daughters, Priss McNeese and husband Bob of Baton
Rouge, 
Susan Lord Baskin of Perkinston, Mississippi; three sons, L.C. Lord, Jr.
and wife Judy of Crowley, La.; Roy Lee Lord and wife Kelly of Plano, Texas;
Marvin Elbert Lord and wife Marilyn of Delta, La.; 16 grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
In lieu flowers, memorials may be made to Gideons International.
