Doyle Adams and the Rev. Milton Day officiating. Interment followed at Coax Cemetery in Baskin under the direction of Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Martin was born July 12, 1932 in Magnolia, Arkansas and died Monday, July 31, 2000 at her residence in Baskin. She was a member of Coax Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, H.E. Martin Jr. She was very independent and loved to sew and loved her flowers and her yard. Survivors include her sons, Kenneth R. Martin; Larry Earl Martin and wife, Theresa of Baskin; daughters, Glenda Spears and Vicki Davis both of Baskin; Maxine McGee of Corciscana, Texas; step-daughters, Mary Ann Wiley of Rocky Branch; Shirley Faye Blanchard of Rocky Branch; brother, Cecil Burris of Hugh Springs, Texas; sisters, Mary Lee Lewis of Hosston, La.; Margaret Staggs of Trinity, Texas; 21 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren. Pallbearers were Larry Jackson, Randy Thornhill, James Archibald, Billy Olivo, Donald Olivo and Eddie Earl.
