McDonald Funeral services for Charles M. McDonald, 82 of Mangham were held at 10 A.M., Friday, November 17, 2000, at Baskin Baptist Church with the Rev. Marion Spence and the Rev. Larry James officiating. Interment followed at Reagan Cemetery in Baskin under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville. Mr. McDonald died Wednesday, November 15, 2000 at Columbia North Monroe Hospital. Mr. McDonald was a member of Baskin Baptist Church and owner- operator of Mack's Minnow's in Mangham for 35 years. He was a World War II Army veteran in which he was a member of the U.S. Army, 112th Mounted Calvary Division, the last Horse Mounted Calvary Unit in the Army. Survivors include his wife, Kathyrn McDonald of Mangham; one son, Richardland Parish Sheriff, Charles M. McDonald Jr. and his wife Susanne of Archibald; three grandchil;dren,Matthew, Adam and Patrick McDonald; one brother, S.T. McDonald Sr. of Baskin; one sister, Mildred Mercer of San Angelo, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. Nephews served as pallbearers.
