Will Roger Young officiating. Interment followed in Greer Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home of Rayville. Mr. Medlin died Friday, May 5, 2000. He was a retired LP&L plant operator, a World War II Army Veteran, a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Baskin, and a member of R.F. Mcguire Lodge # 209, Rayville. Survivors include a son, Jerry Medlin of Baskin, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one sister, Inez Lambert of Chalmette, La. ; two nieces, one nephew and two aunts. Pallbearers were Huey Franks, Joe Lively, Buddy Bradshaw, Alvin Sikes, Tony Jackson and Roger Cook.
