Gracie Merrill

Funeral services for Gracie Merrill 79, of Winnsboro were held Tuesday
at Riser First National Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Lewis 
officiating. 
Interment followed at Old Winnsboro Cemetery under the direction of 
Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mrs. Merrill died Saturday, April 1, 2000 at Plantation Manor Nursing
Home.  
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Winnsboro and 
a retired beautician.
Mrs. Merrill was preceded in death by her husband, T.B. "Pop" Merrill and 
son James Henry Merrill II.
Survivors include two sons, Mack Merrill of Loveland, Colorado; James 
Merrill of Deer Park, Texas; step daughters, Jane Siddon of Monroe; Betty
Lewis of Denham Springs; step-son, Thomas Merrill of Monroe; brother; 
J.W. Brown of Atlanta, Georgia; nine grandchildren and 11
great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Johnothon Merrill, Kevin Merrill, Terry Temple, Jason
Temple, Rusty Brown and Curtis Williams.
