Interment followed at Roe Cemetery. Local arrangements were under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Mr. Miller died Thursday, October 21, 1999 at Southern Oaks Living Center in Wisner after an extended illness. He was a native of Clarendon, Arkansas, a resident of Franklin Parish, a farmer, member of Wisner First Methodist Church and V.F.W. Lodge 3155. He served in the U.S.Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of the Methodist Men's Club. Mr. Miller is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Artie Mae Miller; brothers Jim Miller and John Miller. Suvivors include his wife, Betty Hilliard Miller, Wisner; daughters, Karen Coburn, LaPlace, La; Kim Spillman, Lexington, Kentucky; and Laurie White, Newport, Washington; son, Ryan Miller, Monroe, La.; step-children, David Hilliard, Sicily Island, La.; Diane Perry, Woodville, Mississippi; Connie Rutledge and Judy McLeland, both of Sicily Island; sisters, Audrey Bowman and Alma Reynolds, both of Los Angeles, California; four grandsons; 12 step-grandchildren and one step-great-granddaughter. Pallbearers were Sidney Miller, George Miller, Bill Dyer, don dyer, Marion Hasting and Bobby Martin. Members of the Methodist Men's Club served as honorary pallbearers.
