Cordell Miller

Funeral services for Cordell Miller, 77, of Winnsboro were held Friday at
Riser first national Funeral Home Chapel of Winnsboro
with the Rev. William Busby and the Rev. Alan Miller officiating.
Interment followed in Oak Grove Cemetery near Winnsboro under the
direction of Riser First National Funeral Home.
Mr. Miller died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 1999 at Franklin Medical Center.  He
was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, and was retired from Louisiana
Power & Light.
Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents Eppie and Lena Miller;
son, Carley Cordell Miller, Jr. and granddaughter, Shea Shelton.
Survivors include daughters, Irma Morace, West Monroe; Barbara Rice, Baton
rouge; Beverly Newman, Slidell; Sandra Boone, Sicily Island and Mary
Chapman, Winnsboro; brothers, Garvin Miller, Winnsboro; E.S. Miller,
Atlanta, Georgia; sister, Ninnie Tullos. Winnsboro; 15 grandchildren and 12
great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Dariel Eubanks, Clyde Gandy, S.T. McDonald, Gary Gilmore,
Leo "Bud" Bruce and Robert Harwell.
