Miller Funeral services for Cecil H. Miller, 68, of Gilbert were held Friday April 21, 2000, at Riser First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro with the Rev. Fred Keys officiating. Burial followed at Coax Cemetery near Baskin under the direction of Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Miller died Wednesday, April 19, 2000, at Plantation Manor Nursing Home after an extended illness. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Chicago Mills. He was preceded in death by parents, Noah and Annie Miller and a brother, Billy Miller. Survivors include his wife at heart, Melba Miller; step-daughters and husbands, Gay and Lonnie Black; Rene' and Dale Duchesne; grandsons, Adron Henderson and wife Shannon; Brad Duchesne; granddaughters, Kelly Henderson and Heather Duchesne; one brother, Charles Miller and wife Nadine; several nieces, nephews and a host of close friends. Pallbearers were Cordell Hill, Sidney Williamson, Ronnie Kelly, Charles Ola Jones, Glenn Gilmore, Jr. and Nicholas Donnell. Honorary pallbearers were all employees of Chicago Mills.
