Jessie Mae Hill Murphy
        
Funeral services for Jessie Mae Hill Murphy, 82, of Gilbert were held
Sunday at the Chapel of Community Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev.
Billy Nash and the Rev. Daniel Minchew officiating.
Interment followed at South Central Cemetery under the direction of 
Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mrs. Murphy died Friday, February 11, 2000 at Glen Rose, Texas
after an extended illness.  She was a resident of Franklin Parish and a
homemaker.
Mrs. Murphy is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, four brothers
and four sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth Ann Bates of Greenwell Springs
and Betty Louise Williams of Glen Rose, Texas; sister Monell Laurent of
Wisner.
Pallbearers were Steve Hill, Robie Pugh, Cordill Hill, Roger Hill, Don
Hill and John L. Holloway
