Cecil Nelson
 
Funeral services for Ms.Cecil Nelson, 91, of Winnsboro were held Thursday
October 5, at New Zion Baptist Church wiith the Rev. George Bonner 
and the Rev. Neal Fryer officiating.
 
Interment followed at New Winnsboro Cemetery under the direction of 
Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
 
Ms. Nelson died tuesday, October 4, 2000 at Franklin Medical Center
after an extended illness.  She was a resident of Franklin Parish, retired 
cafeteria manager with Winnsboro High School and a member of New 
Zion Baptist Church.
 
Survivors include her brother, W.L. Nelson of Winnsboro;  sister, Ruth 
Simmons of Bastrop; nieces and nephews.
 
Pallbearers were Terry Sharp, Charles Smith, Eric Smith, Glenn Smith, 
J.C. Winters and Fred Hitt.
