Norman Funeral services for Bill E. Norman, 60, of Winnsboro were held Sunday at Magnolia Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Ferrington officiating. Interment followed at Providence Memorial Park under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Newman died Friday, October 29, 1999 at North Monroe Hospital. He was a native and resident of Franklin Parish, La., farmer and a member of Magnolia Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Modessa Newman of Winnsboro; Children, Theresa and Eddie Quimby; Karen Newman, Ray and Cindy Newman and David Newman all of Winnsboro; Michael Newman of Frankford, Germany; step-children, Rhonda and Johnny Crum of Fort Necessity; Kent and Mary Nichols of Winnsboro; sister, Faye N. Montgomery of Winnsboro; Kay N. Patt, of Natchez, Mississippi; brothers, Bob Newman of Monroe; Don Newman of Farmerville; nine grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were R.S. Newman, Buddy Newman, Larry Newman, David Carroll, Mike Emfinger and Bruce Erwin. Honorary pallbearers were Kelly Clark, Jr., Eddie Carroll. Ricky Carroll and Johnny Ray Montgomery.
