Norman, 57, of Dunn who died of an apparent heart attack in Delhi, Wednesday, July 18, were held in the chapel of Adkins First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro at 3 p.m. Friday, July 20. Norman, who was a veteran of World War II, was buried in the Ogden Cemetery in Liddieville. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Norman of Dunn; a son, Ray Norman of Rayville; a daughter, Miss Kay Norman of Rayville; a step- daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Parker of Dunn; three brothers, Elmer Norman of Omaha, Neb.; a step-brother, R.J. Powell of Monroe; four sisters, Mrs. Daisy Underwood of Winnsboro, Mrs. Theresa Simon of Raceland, La., Mrs. Juanita Wright of Hartford, Calif., and Mrs. Geneva Malone of Houston, Tex.; and a grandson. Pallbearers were Jerry Underwood, S.V. McKibbens, John Bearden, Norman Underwood, Ernest Norman and Charles Norman. Additional Comments: Tobe was the son of Charles Leonard NORMAN & Rosa MCBROOM POWELL NORMAN. He married (1) Nannie Ruth BRANCH on 4 Jul 1943 in LaSalle Parish LA, and (2) Myrtle HOBEN COATS.
