Eva M. Norwood

Funeral services for Eva M. Norwood, 80, of Winnsboro were held at St.
Joseph Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Stephens officiating.
Interment followed at Stevenson Cemetery under the direction of Community
Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mrs. Norwood was a  native of Mississippi, past resident of Tensas Parish,
a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Baptist Church.  She is preceded in
death by her husband, Thurmon Jimmy Norwood.
Survivors include her children, Joan Norwood Walker, Bridge City, Texas;
Jimmy Carl Norwood, Silsbee, Texas; Sherry Norwood Stevenson, Albany,
Georgia;  Lanny Dale Norwood, Bossier City, Louisiana;  Nan Norwood Barns,
Vicksburg, Mississippi; sisters, Mavis Fortenberry, Winnsboro; Inez
Balsters, Topeka, Kansas; brother, Jerry Meeks, Slidell, La.; Joe Meeks,
Rayville, La.; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of
nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were James Walker, Joey Walker, Jess Walker, Steve Stevenson,
Don Norwood and Lan Norwood.
Honorary pallbearer was Logan Walker.
