Bobbye Owen

Funeral services for Bobbye Owens, 99, of Winnsboro were held Tuesday at
Riser First National Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harry Boyd
officiating.
Interment followed in Frazier Cemetery near Magnolia, Arkansas, under the
direction of Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Miss Owens died Sunday, December 19, 1999 at Golden Doors Nursing Home in
Winnsboro, was a former school teacher in Greeley, Colo., and a former
principal in Eldorado, Arkansas.  In the past she was very involved with
Girl Scouts of America.  Miss Owen was a long time business woman in
Winnsboro, having operated her brother's, (T.J.Owen), hardware business 
while he was in military service.  She was owner and operator of Motel Owen
in Winnsboro for 
many years.
Survivors include a nephew, Robert L. Owen; great nephew, John Owen and a
great-niece, Lisa Owen.
