Harvey H. Patton Jr.
 
Funeral services for Harvey H. Patton Jr., 76, of Epps. formerly of Newellton,
were held Friday at Riser First National Chapel with the Rev. Bob Hayes 
officiating.
 
Interment followed at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton under the 
direction of Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
 
Mr. Patton was born August 25, 1923 in Newellton, and passed away 
on August 9, 2000 at his residence in Epps.  He was a member of Epps 
First United Methodist Church and a veteran of WW II.
 
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Meredith Patton of Epps; sons, Harvey 
H. Patton III of Epps; William Meredith Patton of Houston, Texas; and 12 
grandchildren.
 
Pallbearers were Harvey Herd Patton IV, George Paul Patton, Benjamin 
Brian Patton, Robert Wade Patton, Thomas Benson Patton, Patrick Michael 
Patton, David Andrew Patton and William Zachary Patton.
