Alan Miller and the Rev. Timothy Ruck officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Winnsboro Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Peoples died Thursday, October 14, 1999 at Franklin Medical Center. She was known by everyone as a loving Christian woman who dedicated her life to others. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Lawrence Peoples and sons, Charlie Peoples and Joe Peoples. Survivors include daughters, Katherine Peoples Wiggins, Winnsboro; brother, Prentis Myers, Hobbs, New Mexico; daughter-in-law Mary Alice Peoples, Natchez, Mississippi; five grandchildren, Cleveland Wiggins II, Charles Wiggins, Sr., Joe David Peoples, Glen Peoples and LeJean Rand; nine Great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Cleveland L. Wiggins II, Cleveland L. Wiggins III, Brandon Peoples, Joe D. Peoples, Charles E. Wiggins, Sr., Charles E. Wiggins II, Glen Peoples and Brian E. Wiggins. Honorary pallbearers were Mark Malone and Phillip Fansler.
