Funeral services for George Perry, Sr., 68 of Crowley were held Thursday at 
Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley with the Rev. Paul Perry and the 
Rev. Raymond Hall officiating.

Interment followed in North Hanks Cemetery in Crowley under the direction of 
Duhon Funeral Home.

Mr. Perry died Tuesday, May 2, 2000 at his residence in Crowley.

Mr. Perry was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Ada Perry; four 
daughters, Anna Mae Istre, Flora Mae Perry, Martha Ann Perry and Charleen Perry.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Olena Perry of Crowley, six daughters, 
Pauline Perry Leger of Rayne; Shirley Bergeron of Mamou; Elizabeth Pitkins;
Jeanette Hoffpauri of Orange, Texas; Laura Kidder of Crowley; Charlotte 
Temple of Gilbert; four sons, George Wilson Perry, Jr. of Tennessee; Paul Perry 
of Winnsboro; Willis Perry and David Meche both of Crowley; three sisters, Eula
Mae Winfrey and Dorothy Primeaux both of Crowley; JoAnn Monceaux of Egan, La.;
one brother, Wilber Perry of Robert Cove, La.;30 grandchildren; 13 
great-grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren.
