Ernest Potter Jr.
 
Funeral services for Ernest Potter Jr., 54, of Gilbert were held Tuesday, 
October 2, at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Gilbert with the Rev. King 
Dawson officiating.
 
Interment followed at Oakley Cemetery under the direction of Richardson 
and Sims Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
 
Mr. Potter died Thursday, September 28, 2000 at LSU Medical Center in 
Shreveport following a brief illness.
 
Survivors include his wife Lettie Moore Potter; three daughters, Wanda 
Potter, Donesia Potter and Trina Potter all of Houston, Texas;  father, 
Ernest Potter Sr.;  mother, Caroline Potter; two sisters, Cynthia Piert and 
Pearl Davenport both of Houston, Texas;  four brothers, Isaac Potter of 
Houston; John Henry Potter of Reno, Neveda;  David Potter of Gilbert;  
Rusty Potter of Monroe; and one grandchild.
 
Pallbearers were Rusty Potter, Isaac Potter, John Henry Potter, Jesse 
Coleman, Jimmy Spears and Jimmy Davenport.
