Rials William W. Rials, of Winnsboro and formerly of Vidalia died eary Saturday morning in a house fire at Vidalia. He was the son of Becky Walker Boquet of winnsboro and was preceded in death by his father, Hezzie Rials Jr. Fire Chief Nolen Cothern said Rials apparently died of smoke inhalation in a home located on the outskirts of Vidalia. Rials, a graduate of Vidalia High School, was on active duty with the U.S. Army at Fort Hood, Texas. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Holly Grove Baptist Church at Wisner with the Rev. Paul Reed and the Rev. Neal Raborn officiating. Burial was in the Church Cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home of Ferriday. Other Survivors include his step father, Don Boquet; brother, Dean Rials; sister, Christian Boquet all of Winnsboro; step-sister, Michelle Darce' of Dallas, Texas; aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Brooking of Ferriday; Mr. and Mrs. James Walker of Corpus Christi, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fredrick of Dallas, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Walker, and Lathy Walker all of St. Francisville. Pallbearers were provided by the military. Honrary pallbearers were Justin Green, Justin Graves, Chris Randall, Brian Lindley, Duff Guillory and Joey Merrill.
