Interment will take place in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Winnsboro. Officiating the services will be Rev. James McMurray and Rev. Stacy Givens. He was born to the union of Iley and Ruby Bailey Rice on March 26, 1950 in Winnsboro, and passed from this life Sunday, July 17, 2005 at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro. Mr. Rice was raised in the Pentecostal Faith and was a long time Franklin Parish farmer. In addition to his occupation as a farmer, Mr. Rice enjoyed working as a machanic. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Richard Rice and a sister Onedia Varnell. Mr. Rice leaves behind two children; Kristy Crain and Kenny Rice and daughter-in-law e Angela Rice all of Jigger; one brother Stanley Rice, Sr. of Jigger; two sisters Aline Wheeler of Hebert, and Sue Robinson of Gilbert; and four grandchildren Kimberly Crain, Haley Crain, Ashlyn Crain and Michael Rice. Pallbearers will be Brad Client, Christopher Guthrie, Glynn Oser, Jr. Jimmy Ray Pippins, Brad Robinson, Brandon Robinson and Mark Robinson.
