H.C. "Colie" Roberts

Funeral services for H.C. "Colie" Roberts,  93, of Winnsboro will be held
today Wednesday, at 10 a.m. at Riser First National Funeral Home Chapel in
Winnsboro.
Interment will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery near Dry Prong,
La., under the direction of Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mr. Roberts died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000 at Franklin Medical Center.  He was
a long time resident of Winnsboro and a retired farmer.
Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his wife, Lissie Dewitt Roberts and 
two sons, Charles L. Roberts and L.C. Roberts.
Survivors include three children: Bobby Roberts and wife Judy of Fort
Necessity; Corina Robertson of Kingwood, Texas; Coleen Nichols and husband
Al of Phoenix, Arizona; a sister: Lucy Koffel and Husband Fred of
Jacksonville, Texas; daughter-in-law: Emma Roberts of Winnsboro; 14 grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Crews, Joe Herrington, Stacy Hitt, Justin
Gallagher, Matthew Robertson and Max Wallace.
