John George Robinson


Funeral services for John George Robinson, 76, of Liddieville 
were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, in the Chapel of 
Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Internment was in Ogden Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Eley 
officiating. A native of Franklin Parish, he was born Nov. 26, 1907. 
He was a retired dairy farmer. He died on July 23, 1984, following 
a brief illness.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie Otwell Robinson, Liddieville; 
five sons,Horace Lee Robinson, and Oswald W. Robinson, both of 
Winnsboro, Raymond A. Robinson,Baton Rouge, Douglas F. Robinson, 
Kenner, and James H. Robinson Vicksburg, Miss.; one daughter, 
Frances Ladd, Vicksburg, Miss.; his mother, Duetta Robinson, 
Winnsboro,one sister, Henrietta Holms, Winnsboro; two brothers, 
Henry Dale Robinson, Berwick and Lewis Robinson, Shreveoort; 
19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were 
Donald Ladd, Donald Ladd Jr., John Horace Robinson, Ronald James
Robinson, Benny Henderson and Clyde Robinson.
