Sam Serio

Funeral services for Sam Serio, 87, of New Orleans, formerly of Winnsboro,
were held Monday at Lawn Lake Funeral Home Chapel in New Orleans, La.
Interment followed at Lawn Lake Mausoleum in New Orleans.
Mr. Serio died Tuesday, December 28, 1999 at his residence.  
He spent most
of his life in Winnsboro as owner and operator
of S & S Cafe.
Survivors include three children, Carol Ann Ruf of Metairie; Delores
Fontaine of San Francisco, California; and John Serio of Metairie'; four
grandchildren and one great-grandchild;  four sisters, Sarah Palmer of
Holley, New York;  Mary DiPaola of Rochester, New York;  Rose Moyers of
Bridge City, Texas;  Conchetta Musmeci of Folsom, Louisiana; one brother,
Sam Piro of Mandeville, La.
