Cecil Ray Slaughter Sr.

Funeral services for Cecil Ray Slaughter Sr., 59, of Winnsboro were held
Thursday at the chapel of Community Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev.
John Fleming officiating.
Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Community
Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mr. Slaughter died Tuesday, December 7, 1999 at St. Francis Medical Center
in Monroe.  He was a native and resident of Franklin Parish, retired route
salesman with Interstate Bread Company and attended the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his children, Cecil Slaughter Jr. and wife Jennie,
Gainsville, Florida; Christopher Slaughter and wife Tina, Great Falls,
Montana; parents, Newt and Beatrice Slaughter, Winnsboro; grandchildren, 
Mathew and Michael Slaughter, Great Falls, Montana; brothers, Newt
Slaughter and wife Claudine; Joe Slaughter and wife Phyllis; and Steve
Slaughter all of Winnsboro; a special cousin, Bo Nealy; also a host of
nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Bo Nealy, Johnny Williams, Daren Harrington, J.D. Wilson,
Daniel Wolleson and Wess Russell.
