Easter Rose Smart

Funeral services for Ester Rose Smart, 55, of St. Louis, Missouri, were
held Sunday at Morning Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Amos Griffin
officiating.
Interment followed in Holly Grove Cemetery near Wisner under the direction
of Richardson Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mrs. Smart died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1999 in St. Louis, following a lengthy
illness.  She was a cafeteria supervisor.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Jordan, Michelle James and Anna
Gunn of St. Louis, Missouri; parents, Amy O. Lewis of Winnsboro;
Stepfather, John Lewis; sisters, Bessie James of Tallulah; Clara Robinson
of Winnsboro; Dorothy Buffin of Oakland, California; May Bell Smart of
Monroe; Lora Dell Smart and Lisa Smart of Wisner; brothers, Willie Smart,
Jr. of Joilet, Illinois; Cee Williams Owens of Homer, La.; Ruben Owens of
Battle Creek, Michigan; Johnny Smart and Michael Smart both of Houston,
Texas; Allen Smart, Gene Smart, and Willie Smart, Jr. all of Wisner;
step-mother, Jennie Smart of Wisner and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were John Tolliver, Leodis Norman, Michael Henry, Allen Smart,
Kelvin Bass and Marvin Henry.
