Estelle M. Spearman
 
Funeral services for Estelle M. Spearman, 90, of Winnsboro were held 
Friday at Crockett Point Baptist Church with the Rev. Marion Collier and 
the Rev. Terry Ganey officiating.

Interment followed at Crowville Masonic cemetery under the direction of 
Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Mrs. Spearman died Wednesday, May 3, 2000 at Franklin Medical Center 
after an extended illness.  She was a resident of Franklin Parish, a homemaker
and a member of Crockett Point Baptist Church.  Mrs. Spearman was preceded
in death by her husband, J. T. Spearman.

Survivors include her children, Elaine Kitchell and husband Robert of Winnsboro;
Buck Spearman and wife Gloria of Crowville; sisters, Mertie James and Maudie 
James both of Sikes; brothers Rev. Willard Mixon of Winnsboro; Rev. Edward 
Mixon of Joyce; grandchildren, Susan and harold Kitchell; great-grandchildren,  
Mike Kitchell, Paul Kitchell, William Clarkston, Cassen Jones and Madison 
Jones; also a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Charlie James, Paul Dale Mixon, David Clarkston, Harold 
Jones, David James and David Mixon.
