Jerry Shows officiating. Interment followed at Greenlawn Cemetery in Natchez, Miss., under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Strahan die Sunday, dec. 3, 1999 at her residence. She was a Resident of Baskin, past resident of Concordia Parish, a homemaker, past owner of Lucille's beauty Shop in Ferriday and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Mrs. Strahan was preceded in death by her husband Robert Strahan, Baskin; three daughters, Nina Crawford, Harrisonburg; Ailinda Crowell, Swink, Colo.; Marria Partee, Vera Beach, Fla.; three sisters Hilda graves, Vidalia, La.; Mae Smith, Natchez, Miss.; Ann Allen, Meridian, Miss.; four grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Vester Smith, Wade Allen, Johnny Magnuson, Fred Watson, Bowen Strahan and Buddy McGuirk. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Friendship Baptist Church and Mrs. Mary Dixon. Memorials may be made to Friendship Baptist Church Building Funds.
