Virgie L. Sutton
 
 
Funeral services for Virgie L. Sutton, 73 of Crowville, were held Sunday 
at the Community Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Marion Collier and the 
Rev. Francis Williams officiating.
 
Interment followed at Harris Cemetery under the direction of Community 
Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
 
Mrs. Sutton died Friday, August 11, 2000 at Franklin Medical Center.  She 
was a native and resident of Franklin Parish, a homemaker and a member 
of the Baptist faith.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Dobie Sutton.
 
Survivors include her children, Henry Sutton and Pat McDuffie, both of Crowville;
Sherry Langley of Arkansas; sister, Sadie Parker of Harrisonburg; Betty Finley of
Crowley; brother, Lavon LaBorde of Winnsboro; six grandchildren, four great-
grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
 
Pallbearers were nephews, Charles Parker, Lynn LaBorde, Roby LaBorde, Earl 
Parker, Todd Finley and Tony Finley.
