Funeral services for Jimmy "Monyea" Thomas, 24 of Winnsboro were held
Saturday at Winnsboro Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Herman Harris
officiating.
Interment followed in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens under the direction of
Richardson Funeral Homes of Winnsboro.
Mr. Thomas died Monday, October 11, 1999 at Franklin Medical Center in
Winnsboro following a brief illness.
Survivors include daughters, Jimecia Lewis and Jam'Saniqua Kendell both of
Monroe;  son LaDarrius Lewis of Monroe;  father, Jimmy Thomas, Sr. of
Winnsboro; step mother, Teresa Thomas
of Winnsboro; step father, Freddie Blanson of West Monroe; sisters, Evelyn
Harris, Monroe; Bernetta Coleman of Winnsboro; brother, Jimmy Burton of
Orange, Texas; grandparents, Percy and Estell 
Thomas of Fort Necessity; and fiancée Tabony Heard of Wisner.
Pallbearers were Timothy Byrd, Terry Dorsey, George Planter, Roderick
Criff, Shondell Heard and Ricky Matthews.
