Gary Thomas, the Rev. Robert Stroud and the Rev. C.J. Haygood officiating. Interment followed at the Little Star Cemetery in Holum under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Mrs. Thompson, the daughter of the late Morgan and Anna Killingsworth Thompson, was born in Goldonna on March 15, 1911. She died at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia on Wednesday, November 1, 2000. She was a homemaker and a member of the Clarks United Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert L. Thompson. Survivors include two sons, James Woody Thompson of Clarks; Albert A. Thompson of Holum; five daughters, Ann Spence of Fort Necessity; Billie Gilmore of Holum; Louise Phillips of Start; Dorothy Volentine of Grayson; and Lynda Stratton of Navarre Beach, Florida; sister, Ouida Bryan of Woodville, Texas; sister-in-law, Pauline Thompson of Baskin; 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, four great-great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were David L. Mabry, Adam Volentine, Michael A. Phillips, Bart Thompson, Josh Stratton, James Gilmore, Chad Smith and Jason Thompson.
