Paul Bailey officiating. Interment followed at Rose Memorial Cemetery in Hammond. Mrs. Viener died Saturday, September 2, 2000 at Hammond Nursing Home. She was a native of Wisner and Natchez, Mississippi. She was a former member of the First Church of Christ Science; a long time member of both the Board of Directors of the Natchez Protestant Home and of the Salvation Army; was a member of American Daughters of the Revolution and the Natchez Garden Club. Mrs. Viener was preceded in death by her parents, Georgia Emma Sheffield Brown and Eldon Spencer Brown. Survivors include a son, Harry Edward Viener of Hammond; three grandchildren; two brothers, Eldon Spencer Brown of Wisner; Col. Charles Sheffield Brown of Braithwaite, La.; sister, Georgia Belle Warner of Geneva, Wisconson.
