Smith E. Walker

Funeral services for Smith E. Walker, 86 of Wisner were held 
Monday at New  Hope Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Roy Archer 
and the Rev. John Bowman officiating.
Interment followed at Kings Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial 
Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Walker died Sunday, May 7, 2000 at Franklin Medical 
Center after an extended  Illness.  He was a resident of Franklin Parish, retired farmer 
and member of the  Pentecostal Faith.
Survivors include his wife, Nettie M. Walker of Wisner; sons, Eugene Walker of 
Wisner; John W. Walker of Clayton; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren
and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Daryle Walker, Stacey Walker, Jonathan Walker, Keith Walker, 
Edward Armstrong and Thomas Mahoney.
