Frank  Walter
 
Funeral services for Frank Walter, 69, of Ferriday were held Thursday 
at the First Baptist Church in Ferriday with the rev. Fred Shelie officiating.
 
Interment followed in the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of 
Richardson and Sims Funeral Home of Ferriday.
 
Mr. Walter died Friday, June 16, 2000 at St. Francis Cabrini in 
Alexandria following a brief illness.
 
Survivors include his wife, Luvenia Walter of Ferriday; three daughters, 
Maine Seals of Natchez, Mississippi; Rosalind King and Patricia Williams 
both of New Orleans; two sons, Frank Walter Jr. and Steven Walter both of 
New Orleans; mother, Estella Walter Washington of Natchez, Mississippi; 
two step-children, Pamela Martin and Willie Martin both of Ferriday; 
10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
