CLAUDE SCOTT WELCH

Funeral services were held July 15 at the Crowvile Batist Church for Claude 
Scott Welch, 69, who died July 14 at his residence near crowville. Burial was in 
the Crowville Masonic Cemetery. Mr. Welch, a retried farmer, was a veteran of 
WW1. He was a member of the Warsaw Baptist Church
 
 Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edna Welch, Crowville; a daughter, 
 Mrs. Ruth Nichols, Crowville; Five Sons, Charles Welch of Crowville;
 Claude N. Welch of New Orleans, Sgt. Edward Welch of Ft. Sill Okla., 
 "Wimp" Welch of Winnsboro; a sister Mrs. Bethlehem Olsby, Winnsboro; 12 
grandchildren and 
 two great-grandchildren.
 
 Pallbearers were LaFay Ezell, Cecil Kelly, Charlie Hixon, 
 Tad Holloway, and Oren Lewis
