TIMOTHY MAJOR WELCH

Funeral services for Timothy Major Welch, 66, of Liddieville were at 2 p.m., May 
20 at First United Pentecostal Church with Rev. D.T. Guillory and Rev. J.A. 
Hawthorne officiating. Interment was in Harris Cemetery under the direction of 
Winnsboro Frist National Funeral Home.

 Mr. Welch was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Elouise Bailey, Morgan City, Mrs. Louise 
Hebert, Chicksaw, Ala., Mrs. Alice Ruth Lay, Shreveport, and Mrs. Betty Jane 
Turner, Shreveport; two brothers, O.S. Welch, Winnsboro, and Oakley Welch, 
Eunice; four sisters, Mrs. Maggie Rollins, Winnsboro, Mrs. Evielean Russell, 
Winnsboro, Mrs. Hetty Hamilton, Anacoco, and Mrs. Flora Streeter, Waco, Tex; 9 
grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews.

 Pallbearers were Grady Welch Jr., Edward Welch, T.M. Welch, Raymond Hamilton, 
Leo Nichols, Junior Barker, Simmie Ray Welch and A.J. Parks
