IRA B. WELCH

Conduct Last Rites For Ira B. Welch, 81


Eighty one-year old Ira B. Welch, for many years a resident of Franklin Parish, 
succumbed in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Howard Miller, in Laurel, Miss., 
Saturday.

Last rites for the elderly former resident were conducted in the Chase Baptist 
Church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. A.C. Trapp, pastor, 
officiating. Interment followed in the Chase cemetery.

He is survived by three sons, four daughters, three brothers, 25 grandchildren 
and 25 great-grandchildren.

In charge of final arrangements was the Mulhearn Funeral home.
