Billy Joe "Red" West
 
Funeral services for Billy Joe "Red" West, 63, of Delhi were held 
Thursday at Lamar Baptist Church with the Rev. Marion Collier 
and the Rev. Terry Ganey officiating.
 
Interment followed at Crowville Masonic Cemetery under the direction 
of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
 
Mr. West died Tuesday, June 20, 2000 at North Monroe Hospital.  
He was a native of Franklin Parish, a farmer and a member of 
Lamar Baptist Church.
 
Survivors include his wife, Jeannette H. West of Dehi; children, 
Cindy West, Thomas Michael West, and wife, Judith all of Crowville;
sisters, Mary Lou Wooley of Delhi; Bessie Williams and husband 
Norman of Natchez, Mississippi; four grandchildren, two 
great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
 
Pallbearers were Douglas Hammons, Paul Thompson, Tommy 
Berryhill, Ronnie Childress, Toby Kelly and Jody Kelly.
 
Honorary pallbearers were James Arceneaux and Arla Hollis.
